I was born in 1972 in a small town in Wyoming. I was the type who never fit in with one specific crowd because my head was always buried in a sketchbook or because I stood observing my surroundings rather than interacting with them.
I went to high school and college in Wyoming but still looked beyond the small town. I knew I needed to be surrounded by people of all backgrounds and to feed off the energy of a big city. Eight years ago I made my way to Chicago and found everything I wanted: I found a purpose to art.
