My Bio

I am a Michigander born and raised. My father was a successful photographer and videographer, and my mother used to draw before she had us. I live with my husband and three cats. I love to travel and experience the marvels of nature and man.  I am inspired by said marvels and the insuing emotions. While I want to inspire and help others achieve their goals, I hope my work itself is inspiration.

I would say my work is a cross between surrealism and impressionism, depending on my mood. I am currently focused on acrylic painting, in between my general studies. I have been painting since 2005. I attended CCS in Detroit, MI from 2000-2001, before leaving to wind my own twisted path towards happiness. I, like many here, would love to earn an income from my passion; if you want a commission- ask!

I was lucky enough to have had a great art program in highschool, and through it participated in several shows: Washtenaw Council for the Arts Art Day 97; MYAF/Governor's Travelling Show 1998; AnnArbor's Potential! 1998-2000; WLEA Art Show 1999; and all the Spring Arts Festivalsof Saline, MI from 1996-2000. Then the pond got bigger and the fish got smaller. Associates in Arts May 15, 2009, from Macomb CC.

Hey fellow Got Crowder,
If you think that you might struggle to find suitable presents for your nearest and dearest this Christmas, then please consider the range of books that my publishing company has released in recent months.           If you know anyone who likes popular music, then they may be interested in:
The Song For Today by Jimmie Oliver; featuring a different song and news story for each day of the year; or
An Essential Guide To Music In The 1970s by Johnny Zero; a mini-encyclopedia on 'seventies rock and pop; or
A Concise Guide To Eighties' Music by Karl Vorderman; crammed full of information on rock and pop in the 1980s
If you know anyone who likes sport, then they may be interested in:
England Football Team, 1946-2006, A Complete Record by John Bull; or
The Ashes, 1945-2005, A Complete Record by Tony Wagtar; a book for cricket fans; or
The Five Nations/Six Nations, 1970-2009, A Complete Record by Ian Bronderson; a book for rugby fans
Alternatively, we offer a couple of offbeat and 'unique' books entitled:
How To Commit Suicide In Ten Easy Steps by KJ Rolling; or
Garry Potter And The Same Old Nonsense by David Backhim
Of course you could just follow the crowd and buy books written by celebrities who are less intelligent than you and whose lifestyle is funded by gullible people who foolishly worship them. What you choose to buy is a matter for you, but there are many good writers out there (including some of our own) who deserve to be taken seriously. It would be good to see genuine writers enjoy the kind of book sales this Christmas that the greedy celebrities are taking for granted. Thank you for your attention and I won't hassle you again. If you have any queries about the content or prices of my books, let me know. They can be sourced via online bookshops, such as Amazon and Blackwells.
                         Warmest wishes

Risha, I cropped up to the puddle and in a bit on the sides to a 4"X6" dimension.  Let me know what you think!Smile

Thanks for your feedback, and I hope you are taking good care of yourself and basking in every moment of mommyhood!

Yes, having an infant is hard, hard work...it's the hardest work in the world being a parent, and the most gratifying.Big Smile That said, you might find yourself crying on occasion from lack of sleep in the beginning there, LOL. But it will fly by, blah blah all stuff you've heard before but I have to say it because it's TRUE!

I predict new and deeper discoveries of the artist within on account of the new love in your life.Broken Heart I found myself writing a storybook and illustrating it, something I never thought I would do. Being a mom is rewarding, tiring, and impossible to put into words. That's why they dedicated a day to honoring it every year!Star

The piece is done and I'll let you rate it.Wink I'm very satisfied. I will be getting it to its owner in about a week and then I'll post it.

Grab that sleep when you can, and take care of yourself. We miss you on here and wish you the best.
