Easton, PA (where I call home)
Hello everyone! My name is Jon. I was born in Easton, PA and now I'm back to my roots where I started out. But between Then and now I lived in quite a few places. Different locations in Jersey, Florida (Daytona, Tampa). So I had enough moving for a while. I think I'll just stay put for the time being. Some of my hobbies and things I like to do is lifting weights, exercising, arm wrestling, singing, and writing in my blog (although I admit I'm not a very good writer). I also enjoy working on the net and building web pages. I'm currently working on a web site with my brother called ScriptureJournal.net

Calling all Killers fans! Go out and get their new album "Day & Age", they freakin rock! I love it! The Killers have released 4 albums so far and I love each one. Go Killers!
I'm not sure why but these last couple days I've been very tired and its been hard for me to get out of bed. As I'm waking up and loosening up a bit I'm gonna get ready pretty soon for my workout. I'll do my snatch-grip deadlifting at the house and then finish up my workout at the gym. I have to make an attempt to consume more protein. I think that may be why I'm so tired and achy. I was good for a while with taking protein, but since I've started back to work again I've slacked off with that and I'm probably paying for it now. It's also probably not helping matters that I'm lifting 4 days straight in a row, and while I'd normally wait till tomorrow to do the workout I'm going to do today, I'm doing it today because I have a feeling I might be working overtime tomorrow and will probably not feel up to lifting, especially heavy, tomorrow. Until next time...
Well today was sumo-style deadlifts day. I've been doing them at the house lately but today I wound up doing them at the gym because time was getting on and my brother had an appointment with one of the trainers. I have a nice leisure time at the gym. Some people were using the squat/power rack so I had to wait to do my deadlifts. In the meantime I was hanging out with my brother and his trainer watching him do some bench pressing. My brother did very well. Ever since he started working with the trainer he has been pressing up a lot more weight. Today he was pressing up 300 lbs. So getting on with the story now, after the rack cleared out and it was available I went over there and began setting up for my warm-up set with 190 lbs. I did 5 reps with that then loaded the bar to 380 lbs. I did a set of 5 with 380 lbs. Overall, I had an excellent workout today. After the deadlifting I saw my brother cranking out some sets of barbell bicep curls. So that got me in the mood for some curling so I grabbed a pair of 45 lb. dumbells and did a set of 10 of hammer curls. Gotta love them hammer curls! After the hammer curls, that concludes my lifting portion of the workout. Then I headed off to the movie theatre in the gym and did 20 mins on the eliptical on level 4.
Yesterday when deadlifting went well. I think I would have possibly done better if I included a warm-up set. So the next time I lift I will do so. I did two sets of 3 of 460 lbs. Then later when I went to the gym I did a couple of sets of pull-ups with the assisted chin machine on the 25 lbs. setting.
Tuesday (Today):
Today I set out to just to some flat dumbell bench presses but I guess I couldn't resist and wound up doing more. I started out with 40 lb. dumbells for a warm-up set of 6 reps. Then I grabbed the 80s and cranked out 8 reps. For my next set I grabbed the 85s and only got it for 3 reps. I was startin to lose steam. Then I did a set of 2 or 3 with the 70s before calling it quits.
After all that dumbell work, I headed off to the pec deck, which I don't do very often but I guess I felt inspired. its a fun machine to play around with. I did 160 lbs. on that for 15 reps and did another set or two and that was that.
I did a set on the seated bench with 100 lbs. and a couple of sets on the tricep machine and a set on the bicep machine. Then it was off to the elyptical! And that concludes my workout for today.
I wanted to bring this out into the open because if people don't watch the news as much as I do, they might miss all this information. One thing I see a lot is people blaming, or trying to put the blame on the Bush Administration or Republicans in general for what is happening to our economy. Then there was ACORN. What is ACORN? ACORN is a left-wing activist group which stands for (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). What does or did ACORN do? Well one of the things they've done is pressured banks into lending money to high-risk applicants. WHAT? WHAT? Oh no! There's goes my chance of blaming Bush for this! waaaaaaah goes the left. It gets better though, being that Barack Obama is in close ties with ACORN. So what does that tell us? While the polls are leaning toward Obama because of our economical state, which is ironic, if they only knew some underlying facts, the polls would quickly be shifting the other way.
I am so glad you like them, thanks so much!!
Thanx for taking the time to listen to my music! I'm glad you dig it, Keep an eye out on us we be posting new songs soon.
Cheers!
