Sunburst is a sculpture designed in memory of 9/11. Imagine the light from the sun reaching through the dense fog of dust and debris to signal the beginning of the healing process in the aftermath of so much destruction and loss. It's made from a multi step process including the use of wire skeleton, muslin, oil paint, silver leaf, and stretched canvas for added strength. It measures 48"X24 1/2".
