The idea for Got Crowd started in the summer of 2007. The founder, James , thought of a site that could display people’s talents and network those people together. Jim wanted all types of media and art to be uploaded and shared online. After a few months of brainstorming and organizing, we finally found Brandon Spilove, who took our ideas and transferred them from concept into what we have today.
Our site is geared towards artists and those who have a talent of some type to have a forum to get their work displayed for free. We want artists to have a place to post their work. We want musicians to audition for potential new gigs, new opportunities and to have a site, without making their own, where they could direct interested fans. We want speakers who may have some inspirational or motivational message to be hosted here, where their message isn’t mixed with kids jumping off buildings or giant snakes coughing up baby hippos. We want athletes who are looking for scholarships or trying to get on a team to post their video of their great achievements. The skate boarder from some unknown town, who doesn’t have access to much, other than a computer, who can do stunts unlike anyone out there, can use our site as a platform for potential future recognition or employment.
Our pledge is to have a site that will uphold ethical and decency standards so all viewers will enjoy their visit and not be offended by material that is distasteful. We want all visitors to enjoy their first or fiftieth visit in an inviting atmosphere without any garbage. Like a nice walk in the park, come on in and see what we can do for you!
This is a place for you to post your greatest work so you can move forward. Get the opinions of your fellow peers. Better yet…. You might just get an opinion from a Talent Scout. Yes we have Talent Scouts reviewing our site to look for potential referrals. That’s right… we want you to be found! No charges … no fees… This site is about you…so take full advantage of our services, network with other members and enjoy the site.
Thank you for coming!
